Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American designer and author who has received numerous awards for her works. She advocates animal rights. Her films include Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). In New York, she was born into an artistic family. Her first job was as a photo assistant then turned to modeling and acting. MacGraw was awarded her Golden Globe Award, for the most promising debutant. MacGraw quickly became famous after the 1970 hit film Love Story. She was nominated for one of the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. After only three movies, she received the title of top female box-office debut in the world. The Grauman's Chinese Theater engraved her autograph as well as foot prints, hand prints, and footprints in 1972. Alongside The Getaway Convoy Players she was also in the TV series The Winds of War. Her autobiography Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw is divorced three times.
