Lis Wihl (born on August 19, 1961) was a famous American lawyer and author who worked for Fox News.
She is an adjunct professor at Law at New York Law School. Previously she was Associate Professor of Law at the University of Washington Law School. She has provided legal commentary for National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She appeared weekly on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File featuring Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs Tonight. the Imus morning shows, and hosts her own show, the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl was raised in Yakima, Washington, and was a graduate of West Valley High School in Yakima. She has an undergraduate degree in Arts at Barnard College and an MA in Literature (University of Queensland) along with an JD at Harvard Law School.
Wiehl worked as a prosecutor at the US Attorney's office. She also worked as a legal reporter on NPR's All Things Considered. She was "the the deputy chief investigator for Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee at the period of the impeachment of President Clinton." She was a law professor as a tenured professor at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle in charge of the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 through 2001. Wiehl has worked as a Fox News analyst since 2001.
