Brie Larson

BrieBrianne Sidonie Desaulniers, born on the 1st of October 1989 was an American actress. As a teenager she was a star in supporting roles in comedies. She has since gone to take on leading roles in blockbuster movies and independent films. Larson is the recipient of various accolades which include the Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award and the Primetime Emmy Award. Time magazine named her one of the 100 most influential people on the planet in 2019.At age six, Larson was the youngest student accepted into a program at the American Conservatory Theater, and she started her career as an actor in 1998, with an episode of comedy on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. In 2001, she was a regular in the show Raising Dad. She also briefly tried out a career in music, following the release of her album Finally Out Of P.E. in 2005. Larson was a supporting role in the comedy films Hoot (2006) as well as Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (2010). In 2005, she also played the role of a sardonic teen in the television show United States of Tara (2012). Larson's breakthrough came when she portrayed an integral role in Short Term 12 (2013). The actress continued to appear in part as a support actress in The Spectacular Now (2013) and Trainwreck (2015). For her role as a kidnap victim in the drama Room (2015), Larson was awarded the Academy Award for Best Actress. Her 2017 adventure film Kong, Skull Island was her first major-budget film. Larson then appeared in Captain Marvel in Marvel Cinematic Universe (2019).
